A great weekend again this year in Vermont. Lots of support for the club again from Ontario handlers, we made up about half the test I think.
Here are a couple pictures during the day

Kyle did a great job again this weekend but came up a bit short again, keep at it Kyle.

We managed to bring quite a few ribbons back to Ontario as well.

I would like to say he got his title but it was his first finished pass. With some of the health problems and the amount of work to get him to this point it was a big deal for me. Hope to maybe title him this year or first thing in the spring.

Ahh!! Well either way congrats for sure!! And sorry for the falsehoods, but I'm somewhat of a scribe, so you can be sure it'll happen ;)

Picture #1 is obviously text book force fetch technique. The completion of a well run Vermont cooler blind. Surely the triple mark for chips, dip, and lawn chair were completed prior to running said blind. Note the soft mouth, proper presentation, sponsor advertising plug, and eagerness to please. Obviously an extremely well trained retriever well deserving of ribbon. Glad to see all had a very good time. Vermont's reputation still in tact. Way to go to all.

It was great weekend of fun. Chevy came through by lining the blind in water to get his HR on Saturday and played with the big dogs on Sunday to get his first finished pass.

There was A LOT of water flying around all weekend, it would get pretty muddy and the HQ is on a guys lawn so they to not ruin his lawn.

Tony, Congrates on the first finished pass on Chevy. Chevy is going to be a great champion some day soon. With any luck maybe you will have his finished title at the Luther Marsh HRC test in August.

And I like the picture of all the dogs sitting around you guys and gals. Wish I had been there for the fun.

Thank you Zingerman, It would be dream come true if Chevy can pull 3 more finished test off before he turns 17 months old. Nice and close to home for his HRCH, but @ this time we will take it one mark @ a time and one blind @ a time. Playing back in Ontario will mean he will have to be @ the top of his game in order to achieve that great goal....
