Is your pup from Kinwashkly Brittanys ?
Jixer
03-22-2007, 10:21 AM
Sure is. That is Kinwashkly Wile E. Cody
jaybritts
03-22-2007, 10:27 AM
I have used a Kinwashkly Stud 4 times now since 2002. AFTCH / FTCH / CH Kinwashkly Smoking Hank FDX ( Hank ) - OFA Excellent. #1 All Pointing Breed Dog in the Field Trials in Canada for CKC for 3 years.
Awesome Boy.
I will be Breeding to him again this Fall with my Girl Kiddy. The Owners of Hank - Kim and Vern Brunen are wonderful People. They have helped my owners of my Hank pups in the Field with the Field Trials and Tests. I can't wait to keep a pup from Kiddy and Hank.
Do you Field Trial or Hunt Test ?
Jixer
03-22-2007, 10:29 AM
Hunt test and some weekend trials. No CKC trials nearby so it is AF.
jaybritts
03-22-2007, 10:34 AM
If you could you should check out Alberta during Trial Season, Spring or Fall. We have alot of Trials here. Almost every weekend in May and End of August / Sept. Both CKC and AFTCH Trials. We don't hold as many Hunt Tests as Ontario does though. Once in the Spring and Once in the Fall usually.
Who is your boy's Sire and Dam ? Can I ask ? I love Pedigrees
Jixer
03-22-2007, 10:44 AM
I am working on taking a trip that way this fall for a partridge hunt, but the details are far from worked out.
Pup is out of her French Velour "Val" and sire is RC's Rone Ranger.
Ped is http://www.execulink.com/~jixer/pup.htm
Haven't had him on too many birds yet but the weather is starting to change now...

03-22-2007, 10:54 AM
That is a nice line bred pedigree with RC's Sundancer on Both Side. Beans Blaze and Markar's Jac's A Dan D are both great Dogs of the Past.
And Rimarda's Trademark is also my Favorite!!
Let me know how your boy turns out!!

When I put infront of the link and then behind the link by hand , it worked. How did you do it ?
Jixer

The "insert image" buttom is supposed to put the IMG tags in for you.
You must make sure that the link has the "http://" in it.

This boy had a bad first 5 years of his life. He was in a home that kept him Chained to the Back door of the house when he was not in the Dog run. He never seen a bird in his life. Then I got him back and placed him with a Good Owner who had a different Brittany from me. Dan got this boy house broke and hunting by that fall. Loves him very much but now he is getting old. But has had a wonderful Life loving his second home and many good Hunting trips to remember. Kody's Dad is Hall Of Famer NAC / DC / AFC Renegade's Kansas Kid, Where my Line Really began.

Here ped is not nearly as fancy as the pup's but she is a decent little dog.
I put her FDJ on her last spring and we will be doing her FD in a couple months. Last year she even took a derby placement away from the pointers and setters in a AF walking trial.:nice work:

03-22-2007, 09:59 PM
Well that is good that your girl is doing well.
With you boy though - Kinwashkly Brittanys have always tried really hard to produce Top Notch Field Dogs by researching the best out there. She spares no expense I think to breed to the Best. It should pay off with a Great boy for you no doubt.

The RAINBOW BRIDGE POEM
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

What the heck is going on in here a Brittany Convention?
Wheres my buddy big bird to help even this out for the GSP's!
CH. Firepoint Diego (CH. Malhaven Maximum Ice x CH. Navigator Kittyhawk FDJ) he has 1 leg on his FD. He was only in 1 test and got Gunners Choice, score 97/100. He now leads the hunting pack as the Setter has slowed down considerably this past season. He was happy to fill that role.
