I lost the remote for my sportdog 800 today while training. I for the first time did not have it on the lanyard. Instead I clipped it to my shorts pocket. Verybad idea. So recommendation to all DON'T DO THIS!!!!

Hear ya. Lost my controller a couple of times but was lucky enough to find each time. I almost always have a piece of orange or yellow marking tape tied to mine now. In or out of the lanyard. Good luck in finding it.

Were you training at Ed's? There's a lot of acres there to have to look for it...

Good luck. It is waterproof, so it should still work when you find it.

Lost it at a buddy's place. It is a limited area, but I searched for an hour and could not find it. I am so mad. I think if I find it or get another one... I will take ad18's advice

On the flip side of this situation. Machaceh is really starting to get this pointing thing down. I guess now I need to find a better spot where I am can work him cross wind into the birds a little better

I lost an e-collar once too. Somebody found it and took it to Ed's place.
I don't know why as I was training MANY kilometres from Ed's beautiful place.
Somebody else who trains at Ed's place saw me one day, several months later, and asked if I had lost my remote. I had no I.D. on it so have no idea why this guy asked me if I had lost my remote. He said it was at Ed's place.

Talk about "luck". Should have gone out and bought a lottery ticket.

I lost the transmitter for my wingers last saturday after setting up, finally found it after about an hour, really frustrating.
Is Ed the owner of Goldcreek Farms ? That's nice place to hunt Pheasants I just wish it were closer.
