I am just wondering if anyone out there has heard of this shotgun. I recently purchased one this past weekend 2nd hand, it is in mint condition and maybe 50 rounds shot through it. I have researched it online but with no luck, I did contact Remington on this and they told me there was about 10,000 made but for the European market. I got a great deal on it but I am curious on the value and any kind of back ground on it. If there is anyone who could help me let me know..

I have a buddy who is a real gun nut looking into it for ya. He is usually pretty quick at getting back to me.

I think it may be a gun that is actually a Baikal, made for Remington.
Nothing wrong with Baikals. They are lower end but well made guns.
My first shotgun was a Baikal O/U and I would have one again in a second.

Well I ended up emailing Remington on this, they gave me some info but still looking for some more. Here is what they gave me..
"Thank you for visiting Remington Country. The Remington Europa was high grade over and under shot gun sold in the international market. This gun was built in the early 1990s in cooperation with Battisa Rizzini Gardonne Val Trompia. There were less than 10,000 of these guns produced. We do not have a retail selling price for this model as currency rates can vary so widely from country to country."
I have googled this information but still with no luck, I guess I am just looking to see how many made it into Canada and the U.S and what the Value is. I paid $1200 for it with a set of Briley chokes. I just can't believe that there is no info out there on this shotgun..
Any help would be great..
