Got mine from the local Co-op, I think it is called Country Depot now. They may not have them in stock but they can order them.

I don't know if this will help, but I my family owns a trucking business. The dump trucks use a large mesh tarp that goes over the box when it is loaded. They eventually get tears in them and have to replace them. I just cut them to size and use them. Again, I don't know if it will help, but you may know someone in your area.

I purchased a mesh tarp at Petsmart, it cost me about $90 with tax. I think my kennel is about 71/2'x13'.

A great place for you to go and try to pick some up would be any plant Nursery....they use this stuff for their shade plants and perennials. I was given a piece, and that is where it was picked up from....Probably wouldn't cost much, or mabey they would sell you a piece....

With the strength of the Canadian dollar right now the above link is a decent deal.
Lion Country has lots of good deals.

Check out Petsmart. That is where I purchased my kennel from and they have the tarps.

The idea that Mike Bons had is a good one. I have also gotten some of that stuff from a company that will make tarps for trucks and trailers. They have several different types and density and colours of the mesh tarps. I used the mesh tarp to make a goose chair. I liked the idea that it breathed and that water would go through it on contact.

The Gensing farmers also use a lot of that stuff. Seems to me $90 for what some people are paying is a lot of money.

I just found this site that has some very good material for a great price. Would be a real cheep way to go if the shipping was low.

I used one that Pam Martin lent me. It was made of an aluminum looking material and allowed the air to pass through. It very effective. Not sure where she got it.

Try London Tarps they will make any size to fit your kennel. I have a heavy duty one that I got made five years ago and it still works for the summer months. We get our tarps for our 18 wheelers from these guys and they are reasonable. A 38 ft by 12 ft is only 400.00 dollars. I can't remember the cost of the one for my kennel but it wasn't even close to the price of the ones on the market
