After two weeks of searching for a Choc, Male Pup, and the help of a couple new board and HRC friends (Kevin & Mario) I think I've struck gold. Take a look at these sweethearts!!

http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y93/goinggoingsold/Kaliska/P1010205.jpg

These guys come from, what I think is a very good Pedigree, and the litter has 5 females and 4 males that you see in the picture. My wife and I have a problem though, we cant choice which one we want, all would be nice,,lol,, :dribble: they will be ready the middle of August, and coming from Dallas, North Carolina. So picking one from pictures are my only choice, unless I fly there. I did tell the breeder what I wanted in a pup, he told me he new exactly what I was looking for and said they were the same qualities he would pick.
Special thanks to Kevin for pointing me in the right direction, and same for Mario, you guys are great :first: I hope I didn't bore anyone with this, but I really had to share mine and Cathy's excitement. :bf_new:

Just tell the breeder what you want out of the dog and have them pick the one that fits you the best. They have spent 7 weeks with them and they know the puppys better than anyone else.

Have fun,

Kevin

Congrats!!
So tell us about the pedigree.
Hopefully it will not be too hot when the are ready to fly. There are certain temperture restrictions, which I don't know off hand.

Here is a link to a picture of the Sire and Dam, you will also see the pedigrees onder both. Dam Im happy, and to top it all off, I just got back from the 1000island casino, lost $60. and won $4000.50. So that means free pup, 2000 for wife and some left over for new zinger winger. YES,, YES,, YES,, :bf_new:

I'm such a pedigree nut case... I love looking at pedigrees... LOVE IT!

Nice Chocolate breeding. The dam has excellent black dogs in her pedigree so you should be fine.

The sire has some FC-AFC's that I don't know, some are chocolate, so you mights be in trouble there ;)

Just joshin yah, the only thing I can see wrong with this breeding is they might melt in the sun...

At least you're not getting a pointer or something LOL!

Congrats on the cash win and the new pup but I didn't see any CNM clearances on either dogs you may want to ask the breeder about this as there are dogs in both sides of the pedigree's who were carriers just a precation and some thing I would hate to see happen to you as a new pup owner.

And to your original Question which one Pick the Black one. LOL Tell the breeder what you end results are going to be and send you the pup that best will suit your needs.

Congrats again and enjoy the new addition.

Maybe the words, Pig-roast, Home made Bread and home made Ice cream for Tailgate will ring a bell! Dont know what I enjoyed more, the food, meeting great friends, or just watching some great dogs do thier thing!

Name is Tom Heaslip and wife Cathy, we look forward to any pics you have to share and to meet you again. :spoton:

Thanks Chris, I didn't have to ask about the CNM clearances, Dennis (the breeder) has both Sire & dam checked and both were clear and not carrier's, meaning the pups should be fine. He did tell me to get the pup tested for breeding purposes down the road, saying it looks good on the studs papers. Dennis and I have had several conversation in a very short time. I'm a good judge of character, and Dennis sounds like a real stand up guy, also a fellow HRC member and a pleasure to talk to.
My Chocolate looks black in the dark, at lease when I trip over her she does,,,lol,,, did you know that Black in native American means: SUCKI :cheesy:

Any relation to Dave Heaslip? HE was from that area, ran Modifieds on dirt tracks, and was sponsired by Gany Chev Olds? If so, he was my favorite driver by a mile!!

Yeh, Dave Heaslip is my cousin on my Dads side, he lives in Smith falls. That man sure can drive alright. Got to see him on Wed, at our uncle Bobs funeral. He was the last of the uncles on the Heaslip Side. It seems now days the only time you get to see your relatives, is at Weddings and Funerals.
