HRC "Old Friends" Video

Hi everyone,

I saw this video on the HRC website, and I just thought I would share it. Most of the pictures are from the various UKC/HRC "Grands". Several Ontario handlers and dogs you might recognize.

Yes - there are a couple of Luther Marsh "Grand Hunting Retriever Champions (GRHRCH)" in the video clip.

The one you are referring to with the Springer Spaniel is Serge Rasetta and his dog Remmy. (Remmy was actually put down about 1 1/2 years ago). Serge currently is working with a new dog - which happens to be a chocolate. I should say that Serge "was" a member of Luther Marsh however I believe he is now a member at Lake Ontario HRC.

The other fellow in the picture with Serge is Gerry Murphy and his chocolate lab Spud. Gerry and Spud went to the "Grand" four times and passed on all four occassions. Gerry is currently working with a new female chocolate (Sprig). Gerry and Sprig earned their HRCH title last year and are considering the Grand in Michigan in September. Gerry is still a member of Luther Marsh HRC.

A few of the other Ontario HRC people in the video are: Dean Roy (Lake Ontario), Greg Moffatt (Lake Ontario), Frank Psaila (Luther and Lake Ontario), Howard Simson (Georgian Bay), Chris Stoddart (Ottawa), and Shawn Arnie (Lake Ontario) - to name a few.
