Its time for anyone interested in attending the upcoming NAVHDA conference & banquet to get your registration in.
The weekend events should be of interest to anyone with interested in any breed of field dog and/or a passion for upland or waterfowl hunting. You do not have to be a member of NAVHDA to attend.
It is shaping up to be a great get together and a fantastic value at only $75 for the banquet, seminars and hospitality suite (yes
an open bar!).
The complete agenda is online at http://www.ovnavhda.com/nam/agenda.htm
The seminars include:
1. Saturday, 1:00 PM Dr. Ed Bailey Animal Behaviourist, Co-founder of NAVHDA and Co-Author of Versatile Hunting Dog (The Green Book)
2. Saturday, 3:30 PM Dr. Kevin Bacon, DVM Field First Aid and Animal Health
3. Sunday, 9:00 AM Dr. Andrew Sparling, DVM Dog Breeding and Frozen Semen
4. Sunday, 11:00 AM Andy Kinstler, Rob Thornton & Pierre Baril, Duck & Goose Calling Champions - Hands-on Duck/Goose Calling and Hunting Strategies
Items available for purchase at the seminars (at very reasonable costs) will include Field Dog First Aid Kits and Pro Goose Calls.
The banquet begins Saturday @ 6:00 PM and will have a variety of auctions, raffles and games featuring some very impressive prizes. Just some of the few hundred items up to be won include:
Ruffed Grouse Society Shotgun
Grade 1 Red Label 4174 O/U Shotgun
2 Guided Goose Hunts
Dog Sledding Trip
Whitewater Rafting Day
3 night Guided Deer Hunt including travel & hospitality
Garmin & Tri-tronics products
Over $3500 in raffle prizes
Please let me know ASAP if you would like to attend, even if only for the banquet.
Thanks,
Drew
