Vacation is booked!!

Hey,

With all the recent down weeks at work and bad luck that I have had recently I decided to book me a little time off. Well I managed to book off the week of Sept 9-15th so I can head up to the '07 Canadian National Open in Iron Bridge~~~:bf_new: :bf_new:

My next task is to find a Motel with a decent Internet connection. If I can find that I can provide daily coverage for the forum.

I still can't believe Iron Bridge is having this, my dad bought a farm there in the 70's and we go up a few times a year, will be going after LMHRC. I didn't even know anyone around there trained dogs, :doh:
Anyway, Iron Bridge is a really nice town & I'd like to get up there to see this, the salmon might even be running then, if you like fishin'.
There are quite a few motels around the area, if you need some #'s I have a snowmobile club map with a few listed for Iron Bridge. Blind River & Thessalon are only 20 minutes away as well.

I went up and trained for a week a few years ago Drew with Kevin Cheff and Reg. There are a TON of motels up there. I didn't even make a reservasion before I went, drove up and then went from place to place looking for a good spot at a good price. Ended up with a little cottage right on the water for peanuts.

I am just trying to work out the small detail's right now and then I will be booking a room. Basicly I will be gone ( away from home) from Sept9th thru Oct 1st as I leave for my moose Hunt right after the National.

I just need to get me a new digital camera with a good zoom on it and I will get some pics for the forum that I will upload at night.

Hey Drew I just got back from Iron Bridge I spent 2 weeks traininig with Keving Cheff and his wife Linda.

I rented a cottage at clear Lake.

Hey Kevin Reg is retired now.

Jerry Burmaster and his dog Casper came out one day to train with us. Jerry trains alot with Kevin in Iron Bridge and he also goes down to Georgia in the winter.

Kevin Cheff is probably going to be the guy to beat in the next 5 years, he has a couple of realy good young dogs right now and he really knows his stuff....

I heard that just a few weeks ago from someone, real nice guy. Kevin is great, he had one of my dogs for the winter a few years ago.
