I've read the old posts, just wondering if anyone has anything to add since 2009? do you think they are a worthy investment? color preferences?

i don't think they are worth using.Sometimes they turn on by themselves and even if you turn the collar off they still work.

I think they are great for airing dogs in the dark, particularly when you are trying to keep track of more than one dog at a time. I have used all three colours but find that the white is best, then blue, then red.

I will echo what Rooster said, they are great for airing dogs in the dark and I use them when I am hunting in the mornings so I can keep track of the dogs location in the dark when setting up.

Worth the investment to me...

Love ours and never had a problem with them. When they are on the dogs I know where the black dog is and when he is blowing me off and I can fix it!
Of the blue and red that we have the blue is brighter.

Airing arter dark is their strength. I especially like the colors matching the collar straps to separate the 2 or 3 dogs I may have out.

Like Evan I have put the coloured lights to correspond to the same colour strap - blue light, blue strap, etc - and everyone wears the same colour ALL the time. Makes it much easier to know EXACTLY who is who when airing at dusk or in the dark!
