Hit the marsh today and when we got there ,there was a group of guys that just launched 3 in a canoe and 4 in a 12 foot jonboat with a motor that was two big they weren't 50yrds out and you could see all the comation the 12 foot started to sink and these gus got a soaker but the sad part was they had a young kid with them about 12 who was scared as all hell not a good way of introducing a kid to duck hunting anyway moral of story be sure of the boat capacity they all got back in no lives lost . Regarding ducks, ducks in the area just a blue bird day some folks got a few birds .

i seen those dummies two weeks ago, buddy jack knifed his trailer three times before gettin it straight enough to pick up his 12'er funny stuff. We had a group of guys park their car right behind us along this tall grass on the waters edge last weekend and when i stood up and told them they should move they acted surpised. So they moved down and started blowing this call at everything flyin by must have been a hybrid call for duck, geese, shit hawks it was painful. Not to mention the guys across from us doin the same thing not sure what they were callin at but we had to move couldnt take it. Oh and they guys beside us set the mojo up in an open field under a tree hahaha had a good laugh at that. Next year Im making a scrap book of all the stupid stuff I see at that place.

What I thought was a great demonstration of bird identification was the group that day trying to decoy flock after flock of cormorants with a goose call!

I'm on to you guys. Clearly Luther is off the hook good the last few weeks and you're spinning tales to scare the rest of us away.

The least you guys could have done was helped me back my trailer up, helped while my boat was sinking and possible offer some calling advice to me instead of voicing it on the internet

At least during the early season when the hunting can be slow there is usually lots to help keep you entertained. Dont worry guys, once the bad weather rolls in all these people are usually long gone.

I keep hearing that waterfowler numbers are dropping.

I've been to Luther’s once this season so far and every time I go. It seems there are more idiots than the year before who don’t know the range of a shotgun, respect game or other hunters.

This time I had motor issues and with the strong winds I was limited where I could get to for safety reasons. I set up in a good spot only to have somebody set up 100 yards in front of me and shoot at everything and nothing came by him in range.
He even shot at birds that were coming directly for my set up. The birds were a minimum 80 yards behind him. He actually turned around to shoot at them.

Not to mention the guy that was launching that clearly had a few drinks at lunch and now was going hunting SCARY!!!!

There are birds at Luther’s but I’m not sure it’s worth the drive anymore, $100 in gas, $15 to get into the park per hunter. Only to have your birds busted by some moron that should have stayed in the city.

Bring on the cold weather so we can loose some of these creeps!!!

I was out at luther again a few weeks ago when we had that windy wet saturday a I drove past a field in the park and seen a guy sitting in the back of his truck on the tailgate under the back window of his cap with 4 goose deks out behind his truck about ten yards I almost sh*@ my self laughin and put my truck in the ditch. Next time I go up I'm gonna bring the camera this shuff is not made up.
