Dog insurance?

Does anyone know about loss/accident/theft insurance for dogs? Can it be bought, if so are there any suggestions on where to start?

I know all about health related insurance but what about if someone breaks into my truck and steals my valuable stud dog ( hypothetically speaking) ?

You can insure anything. The cost is the issue if you are insuring unique things however.

Charlie Perkins' comany offers dog insurance--I believe it's a rider attached to your home insurance. You could check w/ your own carrier as well....
