Luther Marsh HRC (LMHRC) will be holding their Training Days on the third Sunday of every month at Valens Conservation Area (Powell Pavilion). Registration starts at 9:00am with dogs running at 9:30am.
LMHRC is a United Kennel Club (UKC) and Hunting Retriever Club (HRC) affliated club. We only will have hunt test set-ups at our day. There are usually two set-ups - a Started/Seasoned, and a Finished.
Dates:
- November 20
- December 18
- January 15 (will be having our AGM at 1:00pm)
- February 19 (cancelled due to conflict with Valens Ice-Fest)
- March 18
- April 15
Please remember there is a gate fee at Valens unless you buy a Seasons Pass (recommended if you plan on going to several of these).
In addition, the club charges $10 for the first dog entered and $5 for every dog thereafter. This fee covers the cost of the Pavilion and the birds. In addition a "pot luck" lunch is served by the club and is included in the cost.
