Some Toller pics

Here are a couple pictures of the boys out working in my back field yesterday. It was already too hot to do much by 9am! Today we're waiting until later this evening when it cools off... but at this rate we won't be training until midnight. Anyone have a spare flood light?? :eek:

I love watching these little guys run, a lot of heart for a small dog. I use to think my lab might have trouble with heavy tame duck, but watching these guys carry a bird high and proud, chanded my view on that!!

That reminded me of a little Toller I fostered for a while named Timbit. He was born the size of a Timbit and no one expected him to survive! But he did, he was tiny but feisty! I took him home at 8 weeks and kept him for a while until we were sure there wasn't anything wrong with him long term. Here are some pictures of him at barely 4 months old. These dogs have guts!

Those are beautiful little dogs!!
I don't see them around to much. I have met John Mitchell who has several of them and they seem like very nice dogs.
Judging from your pictures they look like they get the job done just fine.

Hey Mav, John and Barb Mitchell are good friends of mine. Actually Dillon and his mom Tyra were bred by them. They're down to 4 Tollers and a bunch of Labs, they're coming out this way to do some training with me Wednesday. Should be fun running a pile of Tollers!
