Rumour has it that the judge of the qualifying had entered a dog in junior which was running the same time as the qual and the qual was delayed. Is this not contrary to the rules? Was the qual jeopardized in way by this action and if so were any complaints lodged?

Peter did have a dog running junior as well as one running in open. Because of the open dog the qual was scheduled to start later. In fact the same judges that were supposed to judge junior and qual so qual would have been even later starting if they had been available. As it was things ran fairly smoothly for Kap. I don't think anyone complained and Peter and Jim set up challenging yet fair tests. You have to rememeber that there are always waits during a field trial especially if the pros are running alot of dogs in different stakes. We call it the hurry up and wait syndrome.
