Luther Marsh HRC

Are all members of the LMHRC experience trainers? Any novices?
I'm fairly new to the training.
I'm in the middle or training her to hold. Working pretty good now. She has had the problem dropping the birds before.

Is the event in the main area at Luther Marsh.
I only been there once.

This is not the best place to post this question - please see my response over in the "Hunt Test" section.

I can explain "Hunt Test" and "Field Trial" if you come out on Saturday.

I moved this post from the Field Trial section to here ( Hunt tests). Goldhunter, I am not familar with the LMHRC at all but if it is like most HRC/CKC clubs you will most likely find a mix of vetern's, seasoned handler's and people that are new to the game.

You best bet is hook up with Randy and he will be able to answer your questions since he is the club prez...

I am flattered you called me "prez" - actually Zingerman is our prez and I am the Secretary and Hunt Secretary.

A few others on this board are also involved - Browndog is our Treasurer and Quackaddict is a "Director".

To Goldhunter - we will all be there on Saturday. You will be able to see three levels of testing - Started, Seasoned, and Finished dogs. Some of these dogs will be getting ready for "the Grand" which is for UKC "champion" dogs. The Grand is only held twice a year and the next one will be held in Michigan on the week of Sept 23rd.

You will see all levels of dogs at Luther - from beginner to "Grand Champions".

Hi Goldenhunter,

There are novices, such as myself, who belong to Luther as well as plenty of experienced people. I have a one year old Chessie which is my first hunting dog and am learning the ropes. The people at Luther have been a great help.

Hope you can come out on Saturday and meet us all. I will be helping out at Started.

I just assumed that you were the prez as when I am reading the HRC magazine I am used to seeing your name listed so I automaticly assumed.
