Has anybody been at Luther Marsh recently? Wondering if any of the grounds have been cut , and the status of water level in the ponds.

Hey Big Bird, I was just up to Luther last week to pick out the grounds for our hunt test and things look great. The water is a bit low up there but we secured some good spots and some new spots for this years test too. Hopefully the round bails stay in the fields cause it will be real sweet if they do!

Thanks Brown Dog for the update. Our test weekend (we are the other guys -upland dogs) is not until Sept 8-9 but I am hoping there has been some mowing in the back fields next to mallard pond and the MNR house. Traditionally they do mow, but in some instantes not enough or too late for the grass to decay and dry.

You need to get a hold of Bob Bell and ask him to mow the areas for you. He mentioned that they have been more receptive to giving him some money to do this.
