Anyone have any results yet from last night or tonight?

Weds.

1- Tim Marshal

2- Al Curtis

3- Kyle Einhorn

Its a tight course with a very hard base, each dog and handler is at the mercy of the bounce. One bad bounce on a mark and the next thing you know your stuck handling. If they line the blinds and stay in the water they are going to do very well....

I just got off the phone with Chris and here are the results for tonight.

Thurs.

1- Jeff Flanigan, I know he is not on the list, he is from hamilton with fbl

2- John Mairs

3- Chris Bailes &"Jade"

unfortunately for Chris only the top 2 finishes advance to the finals on Sunday.

I was there tonight, dogs ran well. It's really cool listening to people watching the event and the comments on how hard it must be to get dogs to listen the way they do, sit on a whistle and take hand commands...and the whole time look happy.

Third went to one of the Golden retrievers, if you look at the photos that Mike Bons posted, the golden in the photo took third. Sorry I don't recall second at all, I was probably telling my kids to sit still for a minute:angry: .

Good luck to all who are running tomorrow and Rons dog is on but I would not count out Toms dog and Chris Lausch's dog and Jeff flanigans dog worked very well I would put these guy's in the top 4 all of them will be hard to beat it is going to come down to the handler

Congratulations to all!
It's a very tough venue in there with everything so tight and the potential for unforgiving bounces and distractions. You sure have to have a dog that is on it's game.

Scott did a great job and deserved win -- thought Tom had it won with his young dog Blue until last test (just a bit of trouble on last blind) -- but then last year's winner Ron and Ripley nearly pulled it off with steady solid work -- sure couldn't fault him as he had his own cheering section (family and friends put on white T shirts with Rip's picture on one or two but majority had single letter on front whuch when put together spelled out RIPLEY -- also had pom poms and banner) -- it was fun being at 60th Sportsmen Show

I almost forgot, thanks to everyone for the reporting and pictures. For those of us that wanted to be there but could not ( working on the Damn house:angry: and spending everynight till 3am working on the forum) it gave us the opportunity to follow everyone's progress.

Thanks

Good for Scott - especially stepping in for another handler (his dad).

Scott was supposed to be coordinator of our Training Day at Valens today(Luther Marsh HRC). I am glad it was worth his while. He will have to do DOUBLE the work at the next one in April!!

We had some fun anyway today with 3blackdogs and Quackaddict coming out.

What I really want to know - who is going to take credit for the Gold Whistle - Scott or his dad Al??

I don't know what the marks were like on Sunday, but on rFriday, the mark that was landing inches behind the bales of hay really was tough on the dogs.

It was very fun to watch! the rubber duckies sure take some funny bounces
