Just wondering if I got this schedule right and any updates you could pass to me would be great.

Saturday April 14 Luther Marsh (Upland only)

Saturday May 5 Essex

Saturday May 26 Kingston

Saturday June 2 and Sunday June 3 Lake Ontario

Anyone know when Georgian Bay/Tiny Marsh is or any other I've missed? Trying to put my schedule together for summer. Thnx in advance.

Does North Bay have one? Didn't know who the regional HRC rep was, but did some different sniffing around and found out. Maybe I'll try to get ahold of Bob Black and see what he knows. Thnx.

Bob Black is the HRC Region 1 field rep and a member of our club. As far as I know Near North HRC will not be holding a test again this year.

I have a list of all the comfired test dates at home and will post it tonight.

Thnx. I got the above info off of the HRC web page. Usually head to states for a test or two, but with gas prices as they are it puts a bit of a damper on long hauls. Sandusky Bay/Lake Erie and High Flyers are on the bubble.

I will be there as well, judging one day (started or seasoned Dean has not old me yet) and running the other day.

Indeed I'll be there too. One in finished, the other in started. That meal is a dandy too. Pass or fail nice way to end the day. Hey Niimki, I'm coming up to LOHRC on Sunday. Hope to meet you and Graftongal. See ya.....

Not a problem Kevin. We are having a few people get confused. Just for the record, Luther Marsh HRC will be having:

- 2 Upland Tests on April 14 in Brantford

- 1 Regular Hunt Test (Started, Seasoned, (2) Finished) on August 18 at Luther Marsh

I hope this clears it up for everyone!!

How is your upland shaping up? I know a club in Vermont that is scrambling for enties right now and are considering cancelling the event.

I am hoping to be able to make it up to your test this year, I have not been able to make it for the past couple years.

I hope you can make it over to our Regular in August. We had the "back-to-back" in 2005 which was a rough one on everyone involved. Last year we went back to the single day and had a much easier time of it, although we didn't have the buildings at Luther and worked out of tent. I have to say the food was EXCELLENT. This year we have everything set, with the exception of one or two judges. We will tidy this up after the Upland.

As for the Upland - we are "technically" full with a full slate of 20 dogs. (I have 12 paid entries, 3 entries from Essex on their way, and about 5 club members who still have to pay!! You know how that goes.) We are in really good shape on this one. It will be nice to have the program/catalogue all printed and ready to go, AND not have to accept any entries at the door.

We have a number of CKC people coming out to try the Upland. We have a large number of CKC people around us (2 clubs). It is something different for them and something the CKC does not offer.

Glad to hear your upland is filling up nicely.

If all goes well I should be coming to you test in August but we will have to see how the summer goes.
