I cut and pasted this out of Zingermans promotional ad he sends out via e-mail so some of you may recognize it. There seems to be a lot of questions about these models when people are looking to buy on so this may help people decide.
You can find photos and info on all these models at www.zingerwinger.com

What model of Zinger Winger™ should I buy?
Now that spring has arrived retriever trainers everywhere are dusting off their equipment and getting ready for some serious dog training. Foremost on everyone’s mind is how to use their limited training time in the most productive and effective manner possible. In recent years the use of remote bird and dummy launchers have proven invaluable to the amateur trainer by giving them the flexibility to train alone based solely on their own time schedule. You can imagine the benefit of coming home from work and being able to throw your dog a few multiple marks without assistance from anyone.
Retriever trainers in the hunt test and field trial game often ask me what model of Zinger Winger™ they should buy. They typically are new to the sport and because of common time constraints they simply want to train their retriever at their own pace and on their own schedule. A quick review of the Zinger Winger™ models and their features they offer will give you a better idea of what’s best suited to you. Individual circumstances often dictate what works best.
• Field Trialer™ G3 – If you are looking for a machine that gives you the most features and training flexibility then the Field Trialer™ G3 is your choice. The Field Trialer™ gives you long and short throw options, offers 3 different amplified shot sounds in .22, .32 and 209 calibers and comes in a black powder coated finish. Weighing 15 pounds and measuring 65” end to end it folds flat to fit into the back of a short box truck. This is the model most often seen at hunt test and field trials because of their high, long throws.
• Mini-Zinger™ G3 – The Mini as it’s often called offers all the same features of the Field Trialer except its ultra small size and weight lends itself well to the “storage challenged”. At 49” end to end it will fit into the smallest of vehicles with ease. The Mini-Z weighs 12 pounds. The smaller size does mean you sacrifice some length of throw. This model is popular with the ladies because it is extremely light and easy to handle.
• Zinger Winger II™ G3 – If you are looking for the best bang for your buck the Zinger Winger II™ G3 will give you 90% of the features of our other models at a great value. The main features include the popular 209 shotsound capability and one power setting. The 56” end to end length is in between the Field Trialer and the Mini which means you are getting a long high throw and good storage dimensions from this model.
