Today started off with a water triple. next series was a land triple with a diversion bird thrown on the way back from the first mark. Next series was a double blind, one land, one water. There were 7 more dogs lost today. Tomorrow is the upland hunt. There will be 14 dogs going to the upland test.

Had the upland test today. Lost 2 dogs who broke on the flush. Down to 12 dogs. then did a land blind with a poison bird thrown on the way to the blind. All dogs passed. Going to water tomorrow. Water marks on a nasty peice of water that we call the stick pond. Lots of logs & brush and muck. Water is lower than normal so muck is worse than usual. John Mairs still has all 3 goldens in. Dennis Ritchie with his golden, John Chevelier's Kramer is still in, Marty Kress & Pixie, Tim Marshall & Gander, Sue Kish still has one Toller in, Heather Stewert & her Flat Coat, Bruce Kelly & Chase, Trent Sproule(Misty Marsh) & his Lab, & Cory Hill's Golden (I think) are still in. Good luck on tomorrow's test.

Congratulations to all!! :first:
Acknowledgment of all the hours of preparation that you and your dogs have put in - started by your recognizing a spark in a special pup.

Hope I am able to join you all one day at a ribbon presentation.

Cheers:nice work:

Wondered if I missed someone. Thought John got 2 ribbons but they were talking about only 9 passing, so got confused. Will edit my last post.

"Well", I'm finally home after 8 day's away to attend the Canadian master national and almost 5,000+ km,s:cry_1: I must say that it was worth the trip, the EOLBA put on a great week, great weather, great people, food, grounds, tests, dog work, and judging were all top notch. I will be haunted by the stick pond used for the last water test for quite some time to come, but think that it tested what a regular water test couldn't test and that was courage, and heart. I personally would like to again thank all involved in a great week and would encourage anyone with a qualified dog to think about Saskatoon next year. "O-Yeah", it did'nt hurt the ride home getting to stare at a CNM ribbon on the passenger seat either:nice work:

NMH GMH Bailey's Misty Lake WCX I like the sound of that!!

I heard that the raffle draw winners were posted to the MN website, but I can't find them. I'm guessing I didn't win, since no one has contacted me :o)), but I'm wondering if there is other stuff I'm not finding on the site. Were there any pictures posted? I thought there were a couple of professional looking people taking pictures.

Liz,

There will be pics that can be downloaded off the site. Ann probably hasn't had a chance to upload them yet. The raffle winners were: TT collar - Shirley Greener, Zinger Winger Uplander w/ TT electronics - Jim Dempsey (one of the judges) and the range finder was won by Sandi Bond.
