Have any of you been to a Field Trial or Test or just out Hunting and heard a funny or different Call Name then the usual , Sue , Bill or Sam.

I'm trying to think up a new name for some future pups of mine.

You may Die laughing because a Couple of Field Trial Judges did when I called my Girl in from the Field. I yelled " Here Kiddy Kiddy Kiddy ! :cheesy:

She is Named after a Double Hall Of Famer NAC / DC / AFC Renegage's Kansas Kid. So I called her Jayhawker's Kiddy Hawk. I now have her Granddaughter - Shelttany's Kiddy Hawker and her Call name is of course Kiddy.

Anyways I'm Going to breed my Girl Kiddy to AFTCH / FTCH / CH Kinwashkly Smoking Hank FDX this late Fall and Hank's Dad is FC/AFC Hi-Scor Jac D Ruffin. He will be a Hall Of Famer Soon.
Kiddy's Side has 6 x National Best Of Breed Jordean All Kiddin Aside.
So I was thinking

Jayhawker's Hi-Scor No Kiddin , for my New Pup, Female!

What would be a Good Call Name that will make people Smile and remember and be different but not as bad as me Calling Kiddy!
Any Ideas

Don't remember the registered name of this dog but it was a super high field trial dog and the puppys were born on halloween night and the dogs call name was Boo.

The dog would sit on the line vibrating as the marks went down and then the handler would say Boo and the dog would EXPLODE off the line.

I smiled every time he released the dog.

I also knew a guy who had a big yellow male who's call name was Bob, when he talked to him at the truck and opened the kennel door he would always say in a very serious voice " Ok Robert time to go to work"

I love the names of my BLM's sire and grandsire -- respectively "Click" or Jaybar's Picture Perfect AND "Quick" or Candlewood's Rebel Ridge PDQ.

We've always named ours after country stars. Our previous shepherd was "Hank" (Hank Williams) and our current Chesapeake is "Cash" (which needs no explanation). Coincidently his dad is "Crash" which has it's difficulties when training together....

Thats a great name....... BOO !! I can see sending a dog with that name.

Years and years ago we had a dog out of FC-AFC-CAFC Nilak Super Baron that we named Rip.

My dogs name is Beau, and when I ran him in Natural Abillity I had someone say to me that I was going to confuse the dog by saying Whoa come. Apparently some people think that someone may actually name there dog whoa.:emmbarassed:

When we were buying our pup I desperately wanted to call him Reload. I've always wanted a hunting dog named Reload. My wife and I had a discussion and I lost, so we call him Gunner. I just thought it would be funny running in the park and yelling "RELOAD". There was some confusion though and his registered names is Pointblanks Reload.

Reload is a cool one, I also like "radar" for a lab :spoton:

I would never call a dog Radar, it is setting you up for lots of jokes coming off the line when the dog is running a set of marks and has one of those days when they could not find a cheeseburger in a telephone booth.

I told the the Story about BOO to my Family.

Well the Kids loved it.

This girl is almost totally white on her body on both sides with only a few spots of orange on her Spine and her perfect Mask. Almost white like Casper the ghost. So Boo Might fit. She is not 7 weeks old here yet.

Her name is now: Jayhawker's BOO - I Scared Ya

Anyways my kids came up with that and it kinda grows on you after we said it a few times.
