Hello all. Has anybody on this forum used the Jackite goose decoy. I saw them advertised on the TV last night and was wondering if they are worth it. Any info would be greatlty appreciated. Butch

Hi Butch, Ive never used the Jackite or seen them work, but they are a kite and could cause problems in low wind, plus you have to work the string to make them work just like a kite. The Canada Goose Wind Wavers are more stable but cost more, they sit on a stick in your decoy lay-out, when the wind blows the coy will move its wings with a spring. The Goose Magnet Decoys are simular and much cheeper. Then there is the pole kite, some guys use these in the field, but can be used in the blind just as an attraction, then retire it.
Hope someone here has used the Jackite and can tell you how they work. Good luck!

Butch I have both goose and duck . They work good if you have a wind and it did not need alot . I put them on fish line you don't have to pull them or work them they will work with just wind . I still use them had them for about 7-8 years . Good for field speads . I don't know why but never used my duck kite. Terry
