The ultimate breaking test

I'm fortunate to have 50 acres of grain stubble for a back and so set up a decoy spread last night. Not a bird in the sky all night but had a doe walk through my decoy spread. The dog growled and the doe blew and pranced around but had no clue where we were. This continued for 3-5 minutes before she pranced off. The pup did not break!
And yea, when I woke this morning there was a flock just about where the decoy spread was...........:cry_1:

Sorry about your luck...There's always next weekend, eh...as for the doe, take care of her later in the fall. There was a huge flock of geese in a field just east of County Road 10 this morning, lots of hay, clover and grain fields there. A company in Toronto is buying up all of the farms in the area, I wouldn't even know who to talk to so I could get permission to hunt and train the dog in the fields.
