I met Scott in the spring of 2003 (dogless at the time), He helped me with every aspect of this game ,from where to get a dog to all the steps required to train a dog. Over the past 4 years we have seen too many people to remember come out to train their dogs for a couple of days/weeks /months then never be seen or heard from again, to all these people Scott has always given freely of his time and energy to help them out, on this web board He frequently inparts wisdom to try and assist where He can. Blue gets the title but Scott is the real champion of this sport, I'm so very happy and proud to call him my friend, my mentor. THANK YOU SCOTT AND CONGRATULATIONS

What a great weekend!
The final 2 series, the water blind and the water marks, were as challenging and technical a test as any I've run.
This game has so many highs and lows it's hard to believe, so I'm enjoying this high for as long as I can (next weekend).

To thank one person would be to omit someone else. Blue and I owe thanks to so many! You know who you are. Thank-you.
I am a part of an Amateur training group that I couldn't even imagine 6 yrs ago. It's made all the difference, and we're having fun.
We still need 4 Open points for the FTCH and we'll keep plugging away.
I will centre out 1 for special attention and thanks.
Here's a couple pictures.
Blue is the little one.

Well done Scott. Training partners are the backbone to the sport. Hope that your tests weren't quite as busy as the ones in the park. We not only got to run our dogs but had free entertainment all weekend. Starting with the drums and chanting of the dragon boats Saturday and culminateing with Bonnie and Clyde being chased by the Feds. Got to see some really spectacular antique cars that were on the music video set. Even had some horses go through while Larry Coe was running his water marks. Made life interesting and added to a great weekend.
The Qual tests were some of the toughest I've seen. One of the judges commented that if you finished them you really were ready to run Amateur.
The first three dogs were the only ones that did the tests without a handle at some point.
Hopefully those 4 points will show up next weekend.
