Well,
We did it!
The 1st flock came in and I dropped 1.
The 2nd flock came in Tina dropped 2.
The 3rd Flock came in I dropped 2 and Tina dropped 1.
We had 6 geese by 8:30 and saw more but were very high up. We packed up at 1pm because it was super hot in our area.
I blew our only chance at mallards because I took the pup to the water on our property looking for ducks and on the way back Tina was dropping geese LOL! I looked up and a big flock of mallards were circling so I lied down in the field and called but they saw me :(
The only bummer of the day was that my pup didn't want to pick up the geese. She's a small lab with a small mouth. I'm gonna have to do some work there. It's not my pups fault it's mine for not preparing her for geese.
