As stated earlier we went down to "The Grand" and watched Sunday and Monday. I've watched and run a lot of hunt tests, watched all the Canadian Master National, and watched the Canadian Amateur field trial. "The Grand" is everything and WAY more than I expected. No "easy" first setups, no margin for error, and you better be ready or see ya. Most of the "Canadian" guys were in flight B. First series Saturday had less than 30 carried out of 71. One guy travelled 2 days from South Dakota and went right back home. The 4 tests were fair, but any aspect of "Grand Control" not demonstrated you're gone. Marginal work MIGHT get you passed then the point system gets you. Amazing experience just to watch. EVERY ONE of the dogs down there, even if they got dropped, should be saluted for a job well done, even if they don't pass 'em all. Way to go guys!!
