Just received a phone call from Andrew Conte at the UKC Grand in Michigan.
271 dogs entered after a week long Hunt Test, about 50 dogs passed

(HRCH) Montauk's Gee Molly now has one grand pass

WOOOOHOOO... Just got of the phone with Shawn, add Shawn's dog Meka and Rick's dog Jade down for their first grand pass. We have new GRHRCH in Canada, in Sweetpea of Ontario. :bf_new: Let’s hope we hear more good news from down south.

It just goes to show you that we may not have the time to train because of the winter like some do down south, but the willingness to work together and share some insight in making better dogs is starting to pay off for us in Canada:spoton: .

AL did it! way to go AL & the KOOK. 1 of 51 dogs who passed out of 271 starters. We are very proud of you AL.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think AL is the first CANADIAN in history running under a LP licence to pass a grand. Could this be history in the making! I hope it is.

Great showing by the Canadians. Alot of these dogs are the result of a great program and organization called the Hunting Retriever Club (HRC) and breedings that took place right here in Ontario. It shows you do not have to look far to find a quality dog.
