I managed to get up to Hullett for the afternoon on Saturday to see if there were any phez left for me and the dogs. It wasn't too busy since I waited till 2 o'clock to go up. There didn't seem to be a lot of birds around, but we did manage four points. Two were non-productive, one was in cover too thick for me to get a shot and the other was the first pheasant of the season to come home with me. :clap2: It was also the first phez that the pup has ever pointed.
Should be a good season once it cools down a bit. After we got home, we played with it a bit to reinforce some training.
