Finally had a day off to go hunting. Debated about bringing the camera, but there has been more than once that I wish that I had, so I did. Glad I did to. There was not alot flying, so there was some time to get a few shots in.

Sunrise on the Bay of Quinte.

Yes, your right, it gets much better into November once the divers start to move in. It's pretty slow right now. It's not that deep, only 1-2 feet where the decoys are at. Last year there was 3-4" of water in the blind throughout the season.

Nice pics Mike.

This weather is killing me. Normally the Thanksgiving week-end is my BlueBill hunt week-end on the Ottawa. From the looks of things it's not going to happen.

To sweet Mike, 4" water, dont tell anyone about that gold mine! :greenwithenvy: I have a couple rock blinds, but its scary to get to if the weather get bad. Im always holding my breath watching the sky when hunting them, but excellent for the late fall birds!

Beautiful pictures thanks for sharing. Your rock blind reminds me of a few years back when I hunted Georgian Bay water just south of Britt On.
