Me and BE2man went out yesterday morning and evening to smack a few geese and each of us took our young "versitile dogs" for a new exposure to the blind and the geese. We made out pretty well by taking home 8 honkers and the dogs got to drag around some geese. Had they not been tied up though, I am afraid my wirehair would have tried to catch them in the air. Oh well, ya gotta start somewhere. Here are some pics...

Kaiser's first goose retrieve...he actually marked it and waited about a minute till I released him from his teather. He brought it right to the blind but didn't really want to give it up...

Nice pic's.

How do you like those Powerhunter blinds, I just got one this season and REALLY like it. It is nice to have the cover so you can look around a bit without the birds seeing any movement.

I agree with you Kevin. I look around a lot in those blinds to see exactly which way they are coming in. I also like their low profile. We have the brown ones that, when stubbled up properly, blend in with really no need for the camo pattern. Sometimes we leave them mostly unstubbled and they blend in well with the colour of the dirt between the crops.
I found out on this day that they are only water "repellant"...it poured rain on us and we got SOAKED!
