hooked up with gerald for a hunt out of the boat, gerald got us in the right spot and the birds showed up

the action was steady enough to keep us on our toes all morning

it is as much a pleasure to hunt with gerald as it is to train with him

I have to say Al it was a great day .Katie was amazing as usual picking up a 200 yd blind in some pretty open water.I was using my binoculars while Al gave a few magical casts out to Katie and next thing you know there was another bird in the boat .After all that swimming she still passed up an opportunity to cheat at a little point and came right back to the boat through the water .We ll have to get out again...Maybe we can coax those blue bills in next time..

yep,the shore line behind us was more rocky than anything else,i would imagine as the season wears on and the birds become more educated they won't be as easily fooled but should do the trick on the divers
